There exists a great amount of important content in archives of committed civil society organisations, in online collections, with individual cultural representatives, creative writers and artists. The CultureChannel is basically a networking effort, - combining the great content available (thus making it navigable and findable), - arranging it in education-applicable format (thus making it used) - opening it up for free, self-guided exploration (thus producing a maximum public) - including the people and organisations living culture (thus establishing interaction) - integrating issues of cultural survival (thus empowering for solidarity and support) - integrating measures of meaningful support (thus nurturing sustainability cooperation) The "easiest model" would be a coordinating person or team working on the development of a specific Culture Kaleidoscope. Activities include researching materials and connecting to tribal councils, recognised cultural representatives, excelling artists, civil society organisations, youth culture centres, media, travel destinations etc. Once a Kaleidoscope has been kicked-off, a open networking process will lead to automatic development (like with Wikipedia, the open encyclopedia). Options are of course a tribal body, an organisation, an institution, an NGO. Just as much, this process can be initiated and carried on by a Youth Online Volunteer [more]. We invite you for content & contact networking to contribute resources as well as real people / organisations / travel destinations / sustainable development micro-equipment etc., as listed below. Connect to us providing a short description of your activities and resources you suggest to include in the representation of a culture / cultures, or for establishing contact for evolving collaboration activities. |
